Before i went to Pambos Magic i did exactly what your doing now and read stupid amounts of reviews from all different sites, most negative, and felt a bit worried. All i have to say is... IGNORE THEM!! Ive just got back from Two Weeks there and Pambos Magic was absolutely AMAZING. From what i saw definitely one of the best hotels out there! The rooms were small and basic, beds, dressing table, table and chairs, smallish balcony, but for two girls this was perfect. Theres only two plug sockets though so take an adaptor! They are english sockets aswell so no need for travel plugs. Our bathroom had a bath and shower which was quite lucky because some rooms just had a shower and a hole in the floor! Rooms were cleaned and sheets changed every two days, maids come in shouting 'SERVICE' over and over till you reply, which is horrendous when u only crawled into bed at 10am! Haha! Also didnt see a single cockroach while i was there! Try not to lose your keys, like we did on 1st night, 50euro we had to pay for a new one! Give it in to reception before you go out. And air-con is an absolute MUST, we thought we could save some money and cope with the heat... Not.A.Chance. It was sweltering!! Hotel has two off-licences but if i was you id nip to the supermarket across the road as its much much cheaper. If you go out of reception and turn left and walk 30 seconds down the road you'll come to a restaurant called Kartana's which is really cheap and good food! (3euro for a full english!) Receptionists are physco's! While there i saw one of them hit two girls! They really need some happy pills or something them women.. constantly miserable or screaming! One chased us around the hotel screaming she was going to kill us cos we was having a shaving foam fight with some guys but thats another story... hahaha! People are lively 24/7 theres always something going on, liveliest time at the hotel is about 5am when everyones gettin back pissed and singing and messing around, its hilarious! Unless your in bed trying to sleep that is, and if you are, WHAT ARE YOU DOIN IN NAPA!!?? Pool is really good, quite big, and a volleyball pool next to it and a smaller pool round the back (which people have sex in at 5am, couldnt believe it till i saw it with my own eyes! Funnyyy!). Pool bar is 24hour which was ace! 6am sex on the beach anyone?? Haha. Cheap too!! I recommend you get absolutley wasted before you go out though as pubs and clubs are quite expensive (can be up to 25euro entry to major clubs.. club ice.. black and white.. starskys.. castle club..etc, and up to 8euro a drink!) because Pambos Magic is about a minute from the strip we kept runnin back downing drinks and goin back out again!! Reps are brilliant!! We went 18-30's, i dont recommend you do the whole package but definately do... Napparazzi: which is a bar crawl where you get to know everyone and free club entrys and drinks, they make the reps do hilarious but disgusting stuff! And your walking round the strip screaming 'LETS GO FUCKING MENTAL!' Funny stuff! The Beach Party: (fookin brilliant!) make sure u try the laughing gas! And the BOOZE CRUISE!!! Oh my god, that was definitely the highlight of the holiday, or even my life!! Haha, absolutely brilliant, clear sea's, stops for a while for u to swim in the sea or do water sports, and best of all, FOUR HOUR FREE BAR!! I couldnt walk by 3pm hahaha! Definitely the best holiday of my life and im going back to Pambos next year, cant wait already!! Im jealous of you! Have a good holidayyyy!!! :D

Pambos Magic has its own off-licence so the walk to shops couldn't be shorter. The swimming pool is pretty big with a large area to sunbathe and a pool bar. Take-aways are a few minutes walk and the pubs and clubs are just up the road.

Well, to be honest, I dreaded arriving at the Pambos Magic hotel because of all the bad reviews I read but I had the best holiday ever! The rooms are basic but clean and the cleaners were spot on. I'm considering going back soon as it's definitely a holiday to remember! The only issue we had was the 18-30's 2 week VIP pass which we bought on arrival - the reps sit you down to blab your head & will convince you that it works out a lot cheaper, but it doesn't!!!! The passes are €280 each which includes 2 beach parties, 1 booze cruise, 2 pub crawls, 1 Naparazzi night and 1 silent night (drinking & dancing in silence with headphones on). The only thing we enjoyed was the booze cruise as it was value for money. The rest was a rip off because we were promised free bars and the reps dragged us all to other bars which weren't free, so we ended up spending at least €200 before we even saw the free bar, which was only free for 1 hour - sneaky!! Half of these things we could have done for free anyway!!! As you can guess, I don't recommend buying the pass! Just say no!!!!

Me and 3 friends have just returned from Pambos Magic and we had a brilliant time! Our room was basic yet very clean and we did not see one cockroach the whole time! Paying for air conditioning is well worth the money though as the rooms get very hot! The pool was lovely and great, 24 hour pool bar! Yes it is noisy 24 hours a day but that's what this part of Ayia Napa is about! The staff were more than helpful and there is a shop that is open practically all of the time. Overall we had an absolutely fantastic holiday and I want to go back again this year. Just to warn people, with the euro being so bad it is very expensive over there, more than drinks and food cost here in England!

The Pambos Magic hotel itself is very BASIC. I have been used to nice hotels (4/5 star) in the past, so it was a bit of a shock at first. Would definitely recommend either buying a fan or air-con for your room as otherwise it would be unbearable. Music and pool is open 24 hours a day, so I would recommend ear plugs if you want a good night's sleep. But lets face it, you're in a 18-30s hotel - if you're sleeping, you're at the wrong place. Hotel and pool is relatively clean, no problems there. Good shops and Internet café, hotel in perfect location, stumbling distance from shops and clubs. Also need to mention the 18-30 package - we did the full two weeks, it's quite expensive to part with so much money as soon as you arrive but our group of 7 lads all did it and thought it was well worth it. We demolished the free bars, reps were amazing, always made sure you had a top night, also get free entrance to all other clubs which saves you a lot of money. Would definitely recommend this for young clubbers :)

Well what can i say about the Pambos magic!!! It was a quality holiday!! Everything was perfect!!! Party party - u will not get much sleep!!! The only bad thing about this hotel is that there were mainly girls staying here - so if you are a boy you will not have one complaint!!!! Am definitely going back to Napa!!!

Pambos Magic was awesome!! We booked read the reviews and were waiting to enter hell!! But everything was quality... Pambos Magic is where every self respecting person in Ayia Napa goes for an after party and we met some truly amazing people out there!!!(I would advise that if you're just wanting a swim avoid the pool on the back of Pambos or as we named it the porn pool) It' simple, the rooms are small but our sheets were changed everyday!! The only bad thing I can mention is that the cleaner had did a number two in our loo!! lol xxx

Me and a few of my mates stayed in Pambos Magic (30th July- 13th August) and I found that it was rubbish. We were in a separate block on the other side of the road and were consistently hit by power cuts. Our room smelled terrible and cockroaches were a constant problem in a couple of the rooms. There was a sliding door on the bathroom which let the smell into the room and it was disgusting as it was. The staff were unhelpful (although the reps were very good). We took to adopting another hotels swimming pool as ours was disgusting. The bar area smelled like faeces so we stayed away from there. All I can compliment is the location, right in the heart of Ayia Napa near all the pubs and clubs which is thankfully where we spent most of our time.

I went to Pambos Magic and it was the most enjoyable time of my life. It's such such a pretty place to be. I've been to a few hotels in my time but this was by far the best. The Hotel was so clean it was cleaner that my house and thats saying something as I have OCD. The staff are so friendly and helpful. My IBS was not a problem to them. They even gave me extra toilet paper. The swimming pool and food was just wonderful. I love it so much that I'm going to take my whole family later on this year as a treat. I felt so safe I didn't lock my door. The nightlife is just out of this world you would have to go to space to top it. It's only rated 3 star but thats an under statement I would give it 6 and more stars.

Pambos Magic was DISGUSTING! The cockroaches crawled up my childrens' legs and have now scared them for life! There was excrement smeared on the walls, the most horrific pungent smell you could have ever imagined! The pool smelt of urine and had obivously not been cleaned for the two weeks we stayed there! There were rats running around the playground (for kids) and my smallest child was bitten, screamed, ran, but slipped on broken glass and fell in the urine infected pool! The rat then received better treatment from the reps than my child! I left a complant, at which point the manager spat in my face and kicked my children in the face! The cleaner stole my money and touched my children! When I complained again the manager then pulled out a knife and 'persuaded' me to leave 'or else!' we shall be going back next year..... just not to this hell hole!

I thought pambos Magic was Awesome... all I had to do was jump over my balcony to be in the pool... a club that opens at 4 in the morning definitely sounds good to me. Ok I must admit, it's not 5 stars but when the brochure says 18-30s I was expecting so much worse. Loved every minute.

Worst hotel in the world!! It's rubbish! We had a rat on our balcony! I can't even begin to decribe everything that happened as the box probably isn't big enough. We've made an official complaint about this hotel and are shocked that it's still in next year's brochure!!! If you have booked to go to Pambos cancel it now! If not, be prepared for a dirty, minging, disgusting holiday in this hotel!!!

The Pambos Magic hotel is a complete hole! Trust me, the dirt in the rooms was at least 3 inches thick! Our sheets did not get changed once, we never had clean towels all week. We were staying in room 92 and all of our belongings got pinched off the balcony! We had cockroaches every night. On arrival our Air Con did not work after 4 hours of waiting around the maintance man finanally got around to fixing it, it then blew out air which stunk of pee! This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Even the Reps were rude, I would never recommend any one to go on holiday with Club 18-30 they are vile people! The whole Pambos Magic hotel smells and is boiling hot along with the pure smell of shit! GOOD LUCK IF YOU GOING THERE, TRY TO CANCEL BECAUSE TRUST ME IT WILL RUIN YOUR HOLIDAY!

Hotel room 123 was a nightmare! aircon smelt of wee, cockroaches on the first night, very bad ant problem - complained to rep who got bug spray. We used the spray but the ants kept coming back, on the monday night the cockroaches were swarming our bathroom and the ants were all over the bed. It was so bad we had to change rooms. The staff were helpful and the rooms were cleaned every day but the bugs ruined the hotel for me. Pool bar was supposed to be open 10am - 7am everyday (21hrs a day) but didnt actually open until about 3pm. drinks were cheap but go for the 2 drinks for 1 - 8pm till about 12pm - good bargin especially as the cypriot pound is stronger than the sterling and everything costs more. Also the hotel's restaurant was never open despite being told we could buy meals and snacks and there was no entertainment at all.

Basically, you want a place to crash? Somewhere to sleep when you have been drinking?? Pambos Magic is for you. Ok the rooms aren't 5 star but who needs top class rooms when you're drunk most of the time!! Me and 25 friends went to Ayia Napa last year and didn't know what to expect. Pambos Magic is minutes walk from the town centre and a ten minute taxi journey from the legendary Nissi beach. The bar is great value for money (2 for 1) the local shop at the bottom is very reasonable (litre of carlsberg €1.20) spirits are very cheap as well. I recommend going with 18-30 holidays as they can sort you out very nicely (free bars, booze cruise, free entry to clubs). You will need about £500 for 7 days(mostly spent on food and drinking before we go out)! Clubs stay open very late into the early hours! If you stay in big groups you will get good deals from bars to get you in (one place gave our group of 25 lads 6 litre bottles of Sambucca just to come in and buy a drink)! Dont drink the water as it will mess your stomach up!! Go to the water park as it is amazing!! Ask at reception for details. The pool is what you need! Lots of loungers to sunbathe on. Overall was a wicked place to stay, not perfect for couples but awesome for the lads!! Cheap and cheerful. Taxis are really cheap if you travel in big groups in them. Take a disposible camera, who cares if you lose it!! The clubs let you in with board shorts on and flip flops!! Can take your shirt off if you're too hot! The clubs are well air conditioned. Pambos Magic will sort you out with any needs whilst you are over there. And dont forget your travel insurance, you will be stitched if you sustain an injury and have none as we found out. They have phone cards you can use. Onsite Club is banging as well very popular and lots of fun, cheap drinks again, and it has a pool in it! Never seen one in a club before! Cook breakfast next door is very cheap. Air conditioning will cost you extra for each day, trust me you will need it! Make sure it works as soon as you get the key. Don't be stupid and annoy bouncers they're nothing like the ones in our country and they will not hesitate to throw you out if you are pratting around. You can leave the key behind reception before you go out (I really recommend doing this because the people who you are staying with may stay out that night and leave you nowhere to sleep! You can change travel cheques over the reception desk at a good rate. I think thats all!! I really recommend this hotel, all the staff are sound and the reps are the soundist people around. Have fun!

First for the good stuff, Pambos Magic is minutes away from the square, with a shop and moped hire business right next to it. There is an after party (open approx 3 - 6/7) next to the hotel, which you access via the hotel, so it is a very lively place. We went on an allocated on arrival, then found out it was a twenty's hotel. We were welcomed to the madness of wet floors everywhere, people sleeping on the walls outside the room (too drunk to get to their rooms / lost their keys to get in), the corridor where our room was had a plant pot that had been taken from reception and thrown along the corridoor - soil and all, and it was loud!!! A drunk guy met us at reception who was also staying there, and told us it was mad but fun, and warned us not to go in the pools, because people were getting infections from them!!! The room was very small, we found it difficult to have two suitcases in there, as the floor space was so limited. There was only one half mirror in the room, which was the best for getting dressed, and the worst of it was there was only one socket in the whole room!!! So you had the choice of iron, hairstraighteners or stereo. The decor was very dated, which to be fair is often the case with basic accomodation. The rooms were roasting, and the air con wasn't worth paying for. Later in the week we found out why everyone said we should not get in the pool, we came back from clubbing at about 5am to three couples blatently having sex in the pool!!! It was hilarious to me, but I can imagine a good few people being disgusted by it!!! We filmed it on our camera (lmao) so if you were one of them, you're lucky it not on you-Tube by now!!! It was the only hotel I have come across that allows people in the pool at night, both clothed and unclothed. I never really spent much time with the staff, or at the pools or tried the food, so can not comment on anything else. The cleanliness wasn't the best, so I did not use the cutlery or anything that was in the room. Basically, it is a holiday for the VERY young, who want a loud, lively, basic holiday.

I went to the Pambos Magic, July 06. It was my first girlie holiday and I had the time of my LIFE! By far the best holiday I have ever been on. Ok, granted... when I turned up there was a passed out man in the middle of the corridor outside our room and once we got into our room and realised that all four of our beds had to be pushed together cos there was no room for them all to be spread out, I must admit I was slightly horrified. (I did have a mini bitch fit). But once I had got used the banging music (all night from the pool bar) it was the BEST hotel ever. What more do you want when you’re going away with Club18-30? You only want somewhere to sleep. You’re not on a luxury 5* Sandels holiday. You're here to P A R T Y! The reps were great fun. Really nice bunch. Met some amazing people at the Pambos, cos lets face it... everyone who is hardcore stays there. It's one of the most expensive hotels to stay in if you're young in Ayia Napa..... so TRUST me, if you're going to moan like a whimp about the Pambos, count yourself lucky you weren’t anywhere else. I am a firm believer that your holiday is what you make of it.... if you set out to have a good time, you will have one anywhere you go. Enjoy!!
