Place to stay in Kavos
Just returned from staying at the Ekati, and most say me and my wife had a great time once we got past the shock of realising we book a twentys holiday. But after that had a very enjoyable week. For only supposed to be a 2+ star rating I would give it 3+. The staff were excellent. Sue who did the Shirley Valintine thing sixteen years ago is a great help. Plus Alexandra the bar maid and receptionist, who is local and very helpful in local knowledge, plus a lovely person, for me was exceptional. rooms were kept clean by to great maids. only down fall for me was shower was very small. I'm not very big but no room to move with out the shower curtain wrapping around you.

When we arrived at the Ekati apartments we were greeted by a frirendly lady called Jo who is really nice. Room was basic but clean, we only had one curtain and no shower curtain which they replaced. throughout the week the electricity kept going off on several occasions. They did replace bedding everyday and cleaned twice a week. the pool was lovely and the bar stuff were friendly. We always started drinking at the 24hr bar has it is good value for money. I would strongly recommend you get a safety deposit box, as when we were there, there was 7 break ins. which was extremely worrying. They occurred mainly in block 2. People's doors where hatched into using a screw driver and valuables were taken. (even dirty under ware). When staff were notified they did nothing. Be aware has lots of break ins have occurred weeks previous. We meet lots of new friends and had a lovely time. we didn't go to the welcome meetings has the reps do rip you off. Overall would go back, but maybe try different hotel which is a higher star rating. For a low price holiday I would recommend the Ekati Apartments.

Just got back from my 2 week holiday in Kavos, having been there 2 years ago I came back this year expecting the same, however not all went to plan! I would like to start by advising everyone how much the twenties gang will rip you off, they basically try to brain wash you into believing you can get the best deals from them and not to go direct! If you are going away and have 280 odd euros to just chuck away then go for it and sign up to the week of fun they attempt to offer you! personally I won't ever be going on a twenties holiday again, couls happily say they made my stay rubbish! Hotel was nice and Angela reception lady was wicked, I went in the pool once, it was always packed and in the shade, only went in once to wash the oil and dust off me from the go karts! Could moan about so much but don't wanna ruin your holidays just be aware what the reps offer you, bare in mind nothing is free, like sun beds on the boat trip, no free drink, and the rave in a cave is s**t half the boat is still in the sun!!! No discounted water sports, they are out to make money out of you! be wary and watch out! Enjoy Kavos 2008! Plus points was the music, would definitely advise people to go to Venue where they do a free bar on Thursday and Tuesday cant go wrong and is wicked, snobs is ledge and JC's do some mean head f*cker!

Kavos was absolutely amazing! Ekati is wicked! 24hr bar is perfect and cheap. The clubs and bars are great. Definitely go to Trinity Club, the DJs are wicked, Buzz Bar is mental and Rolling Stones is wicked and Rockys aswell. Atlantis is the last stop of the night, the music in there is amazing and it’s right on the beach. We miss Kavos so much and loved everyone we meet there, but one thing we didn’t do was make it to the pool to sunbathe too often. We were recovering most mornings for the following evening. The watersports are so good! Can’t wait until the 2wentys reunion in November and then we’re going back to Kavos for round two in July 2009. We would definitely recommend Kavos to any age between 18-25, love it! You will have a crazy time!

Didn't know what to expect so was pleased when we got in our room, shower was a nightmare cause there was hardly any hot water, no shower curtain so everything was drenched. Me and my friend went 2nd week of September '07, I was p***ed off with the wasps, they were everywhere, you soon get used to them though. Nightlife was ok, reps where alright. If you're a bunch of girls going to the Ekati Apartments, don't walk home on your own! Lighting is very bad and watch out for buses and motorbikes etc, they can be dangerous. Other than that, good holiday, wouldn't go back though. Prefer Ayia Napa or Magalluf.

Best girls holiday ever!! - Charlotte. Date of travel: Aug 2007
Three 18-year-old girls + lots of nightlife + hot weather + lots of new mates = best holiday ever!!!! This was a brilliant holiday. We booked it really last minute and weren't expecting a lot from the apartments being on a 2wenty's holiday but much to our surprise they were really nice. We had a really nice balcony which everyone ended up chilling out on, a spacious air-conditioned room with a sufficient kitchenette and wardrobes and dressing table! You don't actually spend that much time in your room anyway, the pool area is excellent with plenty of sunbeds but we always spent the day chilling by the side of the pool or relaxing on lilos having a laugh with all the friends we made! The 24 hours pool bar is brill and we often started the night with a headf**ker (6 spirits of god knows what but it got you wankered) and a shot for €4!! Then head down onto the strip, warning the PRs do get slightly annoying but a simple 'no thanks' is fine but as you get further into the strip to the good bars Scorrers, Buzz, Rocky's, 4nd street and Sexy Bastards were some of our faves, the PRs can get you some fantastic deals like all you can drink for 1 hour for €10!! Most nights we ended up in Future/Atlantis which is open till early hours of the morn and everyone used to pile out onto the beach and carry on partying, it is free entry most nights here apart from Sundays (hedkandi night) and Wednesdays (Trinity) which is €20 entry, hedkandi is a total rip off and we thougt it was rubbish but Trinity is well worth it and always has a top name DJ an has the best atmosphere ever!! We went with 2wenty's and warning the reps really get on your nerves!! We didn't pay for any of the very expensive excursions and boy are we glad we didn't, on the bar crawls the bars put the prices up but if you do yur own bar crawl you get some really cheap deals from the PRs, the school disco looked ok but pretty empty and they always promise you free bars but its like 1 barman for 50 people so you never get served and don't get your moneys worth at all!! We didn't even bother going to the welcome meeting, we were too busy making mates by the pool and we heard all of it and they spent 1/2 hour trying to sell you the reunion and 1/2 hour trying to sell you the excursions which work out at like €40 each with a free bar for like an hour but rest of the night you're paying for drinks and the drinks are so cheap here you won't drink €40 worth!! Overall we loved this holiday we made so many mates who we really miss, had some amazing nights out and really liked the apartments, would recommend it to anyone!!!

I went to Kavos 2 years ago and just had to go back! Booked my holiday with 2wentys and it was quality! Ekati 1, Room 11: The Ekati Apartments are typical of Greece, plain and simple but clean and comfortable! The bathrooms were a bit manic, everything gets wet through but it's all good fun! The balcony was pretty big, one side looks out onto the top of the strip, the other side over the pool! We didn't get a safety deposit box as they are not in your room but in reception across the road, but I would recommend it. There were 4 rooms broken into while we were there! (don't let that put you off though!) The pool was lovely, wasn't freezing either! 24 hour bar, big screen, pool table! Yannis, aka John, the night barman is an absolute legend! That guy can clear some shots in a nights work! We weren't going to do any excursions but ended up paying for the bar crawl and school disco with the reps and it was well worth it! he reps, Lee, Ashton, Fiona, Luton and Scott are all crazy! It wasn't packed when we went which was a shame but the holiday season is now kicking in so definitely from now on should be good! Take a visit to Crash bar, Rocky's, Buzz bar, Snobs and 42nd Street! Have a gas chamber and a fish bowl and get yourselves well and truly hammered! Anyone who's thinking about Kavos/Ekati - do it! It's well worth it!

The apartment we had was basic and down an alley opposite the hotel and pool. 8 girls went and we stayed in 2 apartments. There were 2 beds in each room and 2 rooms in each apartment and a toilet, with no shower curtain so the water went everywhere, and a kitchen. We had no cooker or kettle. Luckily the other room did. We told the reps they got us a kettle and then the cleaner stole it. The reps there are the best reps ever. I love them. They were amazing we had Lee, Ashton, Luton and Scott. The pool is stunning, and the best way to enjoy it is to go and get a huge lilo and sleep all day. The bar food is good, but if you walk a bit further it's cheaper down the road a bit. The restaurants have really English food. We had the best hotel there. Don't use the cash point. Someone stole all my money out of my account!

Kavos - Whoop Whoop
The Ekati apartments were based on 3 or 4 seperate blocks so it was a lot larger than we thought. The rooms were really big and we had a great balcony but the bathroom was a huge dissapointment it was tiny and the shower was right over the toilet !!! Very annoying. BUt the pool was great, lively, good music and a great 24 hour bar!!! very cheap and friendly staff :)

If you are used to going to luxurious places dont go to Kavos, it smells of sewage everywhere and although the Ekati Apartments are clean it was the worst place ive ever been to... they give you one towel each as big as a tea towel, you have to buy your own toilet roll and there were plugs hanging out of the wall in my apartment which was dangerous. Also, dont get ripped of by the 2wenties reps, they try and get you pay about 250 euros for the excursions which arent that good and are a rip off, you can go to all the things they con you into doing anyway. They also make you pay 20 euros each (I stayed for 1 week) as soon as you get there to use their fans and safe box, we had no choice, you have to pay which i think is a total rip off!! Basically, i thought it was terrible...

Me and my friend stayed in the Ekati Apartments for a week and loved every minute! We arrived at the hotel at about 5am and were greeted by a load of people in the bar. So we dumped our cases and headed straight for the 24-hour bar. Oh, yes! This was a big plus for me because a few people stayed up until about 7am, it was a good time to chat and have a laugh, and chill out after going to the noisy bars. Hotel was very basic but just what we needed! Was very clean, maids were round every day. Food was ok but for a breakfast go down the road. There’s a pub on the left (can’t remember what it’s called) opposite Forum and they have proper English bacon, sausages and even black pudding! The pool at the Ekati is great but highly chlorinated, so if you have blonde hair make sure you have it dyed a couple of weeks before you go or till turn green like a poor girl that was there at the same time. I had to sit with conditioner on my hair for an hour before I washed it or my straighteners wouldn’t go through it. There’s always good music on by the pool if you’ve got a decent cd, give it to bar man and they’ll put it on for you. Good location about 5 mins to the nearest bar. Even closer if you fancy a kebab, burger or pizza on your way home. If you're up for making friends and going on the pull, block book all the excursions when you get there. Comes to about E250 but well worth it. Included a booze cruise, few pub crawls stuff like that usually with a free bar thrown in for a couple of hours. Apparently the week we went (18th August) was the busiest, and hottest, of the year! This added to the holiday! Tip: When you book the holiday ask to put air conditioning as a preference. Not all rooms at the Ekati have AC but we hired a fan which helped a bit but mainly circulated the hot air around the room. As it was over 40 degrees most days this wasn’t nice. The mosquitoes were awful this year, so couldn’t really leave balcony doors open either. All in all if you’re up for a laugh and a brill holiday but don’t mind basic rooms...go to the Ekati Apartments in Kavos!

For this sort of holiday Ekati is all you need. It is very comfortable the rooms are fine and clean. The bar is very good with good prices and the pool area is excellent. The food served is also good. Ekati has the best location in Kavos, 5 minutes away from the nightlife and 5 minutes away from the beach. It is perfect. Chilled out quiet peaceful when you want to be back at your hotel, 5 minutes later its banging everywhere. If you are going to Kavos, check in at Ekati, your holiday is guaranteed to be superb.
