The Spiradoula Apartments were clean but very basic. There is a swimming pool and bar which does meals at tea time but there are only 2 meals to choose from and nothing for children. We found the owner to be quite ignorant towards us as we didn't spend much time (or money) in the bar. The cleaner came in a few times whilst we were there, but we found we usually had to empty bins and make beds ourselves as she wasn't getting there till about 2pm. The apartments were about a good 30min walk away from the main strip and the road it's on is very narrow and has no street lights. Not ideal for people who are in wheelchairs or people with prams.

My wife and I stayed here just outside Sidari between 9th and 23rd Oct. 2006 inclusive. Basic but premises very clean thanks to a lady from Bulgaria who worked all day every day to keep every apartment spotless. Twin beds only. Very firm. Bathroom facilities typically Greek (hand shower and put loo paper in bin - same everywhere). Water hot enough for showering in late afternoon. Small but adequate oven, two ring hob, good electric kettle, fridge, insufficient kitchen tools for keen s/c cooks. Interior seating inadequate - stools only. Manager George's mother "Spiridoula" is an excellent cook, so good food in bar. Food price low, house wine not such good value in bar relatively speaking. Swimming pool and terrace or balcony. In October it is important on which side of the square you are located as it is much cooler then. No heating. No A/C for hotter months. Location suited us as we like walking but it is fifteen to twenty minutes easy walk from the village with excellent country walks into the wooded hills. The old monastery on ridge opposite is an enjoyable 2.5 hour round walk through the olive trees. More good walks. No-see-ums biting all the time everywhere in Corfu. Location - good for us. Service - good cleaner but indifferent manager and assistant. Value - fair. Would not return due only to lack of comfortable seating and the twin beds.
