Electra apartments were previously owned and ran by Sophia and Emmanuelle Agourou, a lovely old Greek couple now both sadly departed. Sophia left the Electra to her faithful cleaner Christina who has since upgraded several of the rooms to on-suite facilities. Electra is located midway between the village, near the bakery and Rainbird Bar and Pallas beach, the smaller of the Lindos beaches. Electra has fantastic views over Lindos bay. There is a communal terrace area and a lime grove downstairs. Rooms are spread out over three floors and there are communal kitchenettes available. The rooms are basic. Single wooden slatted beds or the raised Lindian beds typical of the area. There are wardrobes, a fridge, small table and chairs. Several now have on suite facilities which is a marked improvement on previous years where communal showers and bathrooms were available only to some rooms. There is regular linen and laundry changes and cleaning of rooms. The accommodation is clean and tidy. What sells the Electra is the location and the reasonable costs per room. Approx €45 per night.
