Good overall but the bar was expensive. I paid 17.50 for a round of drinks (4). The pool is a bit small and can get very busy. Monday is change over day and it doesn't get to busy.
Tsilivi and phoenix beach hotel - Gail and Paul. Date of travel: Sep 2007
Had the most amazing time and everything was faultless. Phoenix Beach Hotel was amazing with its snack bar and poolside bar. The hotel staff were just so friendly and greeted you warmly every day. The room was always cleaned with fresh towels and toilet roll everyday. The hotel was in a great location for everything. It is right next to the beach which is ideal and only a 5 minute walk to Tsilivi town centre. Tsilivi has so many restaurants to choose from to cater for every taste. We were gobsmacked by the amount of choice available. There are many gift shops at good prices. The one thing that really stands out is just how friendly the staff are everywhere you go. The places to go have to be: For drinking: Repotage, Planet bar, Magdlanes (for sport especially) For a meal: The Olive Tree and loads of others. For breakfast: Moby Dick's And check out just past Planet bar for amazing caramel cake. It was lush. We had such an amazing time. Even our travel rep said that if he could stay anywhere in Tsilivi for a holiday, it would be Phoenix Beach every time.

Nothing was too much trouble. Very polite friendly staff, management very helpful pleasant, room was massive, view straight onto the pool, beach and the sea. Gorgeous watching the sun come up in a morning on the balcony which was very spacious, air con worked brilliantly even in 40șC which is was in June when we travelled, shower water hot no matter what time of day, hotel is very central for the resort, but the resort is nice and compact everything is near to hand, dont take Euro, travellers cheques commission charge, but not for stirling or cash. Loads of bars, tavernas to choose from. Can't name any. We had a good meal everywhere we went, hired a car but dont need one unless you want to visit other resorts as we did as not been to Zante before. No need to shop around for cigs. Prices are the same in all shops so that saves a trek, crazy golf a good laugh and Wednesday nights there is a fun night which we enjoyed attached at Molly Mallones. Bar staff friendly, remembered what you were drinking as soon as you approached the bar even though busy again. Very friendly could not fault this resort, the people are great. No hassle at all you can browse at things to your hearts content, if you don't like this resort and hotel you must be very hard to please. Enjoy!!!!
