This was our second visit to the Regente. We had a super time last year (2007) and an equally good time this year. The staff here go out of their way to make your holiday a special one.
Rooms are basic with all usual amenities (TV, hairdryer, air-con) we had a balcony which made for a nice bit of early morning sunshine.
Pool area was great, we spent most of our time there sunbathing. All very clean and well kept.

We stayed at the Hotel Regente for eleven nights. The rooms were plain and simple but spotless. Cleaned every day with new towels supplied. Juan manuel, Roberto and Vicente in reception were most helpful and obliging. Vicente and his bar staff a credit to the Med playa group. Antonio, Pedro and the restaurant girls couldn't have been more helpful. Viktor the entertainments man was compere / Dj was excellent. Pablo the manager was always on hand for help and advice. We will be back in Jan 07 for two weeks. Keep up the good work. Best regards, John Morton

Rooms cleaned every day. Towels changed every day. Juan Manuel, Roberto and Vicente in Hotel Regente reception very helpful. Antonio and his staff in the restaurant very obliging. Vicente, Pedro and all the bar staff helpful and funny. DJ Viktor a bundle of energy and smiles. Pablo the manager is always available for help and assistance.

Hi all. Well the long and short of it: I hired a safety deposit box in my room in the hotel regente, had 390 pounds english notes, and a 100 pounds euro's and my car keys with immobiliser, all were stolen by some member of staff from the hotel, as i always had the key in my bag. This happened not even a week into our holiday which made us have to really budget our money and with a 12 year old son and a 8 year old daughter it made it worse because we couldn't afford the things we wanted to do with them. Security guards of the hotel were seen on numerous occasions entering or leaving the rooms in a suspicious way, very sneaky looking. All in all with the money stolen and how much it will cost to replace the locks to my car and the immobiliser, we have had about 600 pounds stolen. Receptionist denied everything said it was not possible as there is only one key, but I wonder if i had the one key, and there was no forced entry to either room door of safety box where did my money go obviously you know the answer as much as i do. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this hotel to ANYONE, and most certainly WILL NOT be re-visiting the hotel ever again..........
