The Hotel Athena and the Hotel Athena Nues are two diiferent buildings but the same hotel. The Hotel Athena is located on the main road with the boardwalk and pebble beach right across the street. You can sit out on your balcony in the morning and watch the waves crash on the beach. Your room will be comfortable and clean enough for two or three people to rest comfortably and you can safely leave your belongings for the day without spending a lot of money for the room. Take your own amenities. Everything in the room has a 30€ deposit.

For the little time that you will spend at the hotel, the Hotel Athena is perfect. Clean rooms, good service, balconies, private water closet but bring your own amenities. Remember that Europe has 220 electricity if you are visiting from the US. The additional items in the room, ie. refrigerator and safe are available with a deposit. The hotel has plans where the days meals are included in the price of the hotel package. I would stay there again.
