Me and my Family have just recently come back from Santa Susana we arrived 26-06-08 till the 10-07-08. I have never spent 2 weeks in such a hell hole the food was basic and inedible at times, the childrens' entertainment was virtually non existent, no entertainment for adults unless you like the same music every night, the reception-bar-and restaurant staff were so rude and made us feel so unwelcomed they have no control over other guests which resulted in my sister being sexually molested and the night porter and bar staff watched it happen and refused to help. The Spanish ran riot every night destroying the game room so our children could not play it felt like we was sat in a zoo. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone it's not worthy off 3 stars not even 2. I think it should be shut down, it's poor.

The Santa Susana Hotel Needs to look at their staff. Me and my family were treated so rudely it was unacceptable. Certain Bar staff were very aggressive. No manners whatsoever. The reception and restaurant staff were the same. The whole staff at the hotel need to go through a customer service course it was appalling. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone not even my worst enemy, not a place for children as there's little entertainment the same for adults. The food was the same everyday cold and inedible. The hotel staff have little control over other guests in the establishment they let them run havoc and they made us feel we were sat in a zoo. The only good thing I can say is the room we was staying in was very spacious and always cleaned perfectly the maids were brilliant, but if you want to have a great holiday stay somewhere else!!!!

This is not a 3 star hotel, it's a 2 star self catering apartments. The food was rubbish at breakfast. The bacon was raw, the sausage was boiled not grilled or fried, the eggs were like rubber, the bread buns were hard - I think they were put out the night before. The staff were to busy feeding themselves to put food out for the guests on the hot plates. You had to knock on the kitchen door if there was no food out. The smell leading down the stairs to the restaurant coming from under a peice of plywood smelt of raw sewage. The evening meals were a disgrace. All you could eat was chips or salad. Everything was covered in garlic and there was no English food at all. The rooms were very basic and insecure. The cleaners kept leaving the doors onto the balconies open. The safe was in the wardrobe and not secured to the wall. We reported it to the rep and nothing was done about the security of the safe or leaving the doors open so we had to carry all our valuables and money with us all the time so we could not go to the swimming pool or the beach as we could not leave our valuables or money anywhere safe. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as our holiday was a total waste of time and money. We would have had a better time in a caravan at Scarborough in the rain. The manager of the hotel said when you're in Spain you have got to eat what they eat. Other than that weather was great, resort was great, other hotels were good and sold good food. We did not starve but spent on food what should have been fun money. If I ever get a hotel like that again I will come straight home.

I was reading some of the other comments above there so there definitely must have been a change when we went. The choice of food was tremendous all day long every day, the entertainment gang were super freindly with us and the children, the bar staff, even though they work tremendously long hours, were always smart and cheerful. The apartment itself was huge and the balcony was massive too. For what we paid for this holiday you would have to be a really sad individual to complain about anything! It costs me more to run my house for the week. I'd move there tomorrow if I could. So much to do in Santa Susanna itself. It's a great place.

Staff were great, rooms were lovely and very spacious. This is a tourist resort and there are lots of shops and the beach is quite near the hotel. The only downside to our holiday was the fact that there was nothing at all for the kids to do (we have 4 kids aged 16,14,12 & 11) and they were bored stiff most of the holiday. The entertainment was non existent!!! The food was very basic and hardly any variety. If you are going for a fortnight you will end up eating out as the food is the same all the time. The food was only slightly warm, but to be honest there is a microwave there to warm things up. Personally speaking i would not return to the hotel, but i would use the same chain, but would probably upgrade to a 4 star.

The Rooms were very clean. The hotel had lovely staff at the bar area that were very friendly to children. The pool was very safe and hot, right at the top of the building - it was fabulous. The food was lovely and you could make your own meals and pick them yourselves. The beach was very nice ecspecially at night. This hotel was amazing. We are returning to the hotel and hope to have a brilliant time. The children loved this hotel and cant wait to come back this year.
