I just came back from Gloria palace and i really want to go back I cant find one fault about the hotel, we had food included but planned on eating out a few nights but we thought the food was so nice in the hotel we wanted to stay there, Rooms were spacious very modern and clean,Staff were very friendly ad entertainment was very good, one of the best holidays i have been to 5 minute walk to the shopping center and taxi around 3 euro. Def going back next year..:)

We went as a couple, great for couples and families with kids, loads of activities for them, 2 large swiming pools, nice location, 5 minutes to the left would be bring you into Puerto Rico harbour and beach, and five minutes to the right of the hotel would bring you to a gorgeous man made beach. Shops, restaurants, sunloungers only €2.50. Very helpful staff in the hotel, great shows and enteratinment and kiddies discos on every night. At the pool they have yoga, fashion shows. Just brilliant hotel, cannot complain. would recommed to couples and families looking for a nice quiet hotel. Taxis are very cheap, the rate of a taxi never goes over €3.00.

The Gloria Palace Amadores is superior, food was really good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Views amazing over the sea. Rooms very clean with maid every day. Great entertainment day and night. We had a great holiday and will definitely be going back.

Strong legs needed for the steep road up the GLoria Palace if you are walking, but lovely views and soamazing watching the sun set over the sea from the pool. Lots of time of beach and lovely holiday all round.

What a fantastic hotel, the views are immense. Watching the sunset from the terrace was lovely. the rooms were very clean, bright and air con was a life saver!
There wasn't a great deal of choice of tv channels, however their entertainment and facilities made up for that.. and anyway... who wants to watch tv when you're on holiday in such a magnificant place!
The food was lovely, a huge variety. The only frustrating part was the overall waiter/waitress service, they were either really quick at taking your plates or very very slow. The staff at reception were lovely, however, the bar staff could be a bit 'off'.
All in all I would highly recommend the Gloria Palace in Amadores... a holiday to remember.
