Just returned from a 2 week break at the Abrat Hotel, it was a very nice hotel, not posh, but ideal for a holiday, large rooms air conditioned, and clean, what more do you need, if you want 5* this hotel is not for you, but then again you haven't paid for a 5*. The Hotel is in a lovely location with a lovely garden, leading down to the sea and a Small beach, a few minutes walk and you come to some lovely sunset bars, 5 mins further and you come to Cafe del Mar, another 10 mins and you are in the West end, alternatively walk the back streets, and you will be in the West end in 10 mins Food at the hotel is above average standard, for hotels abroad, food was nice and hot, only niggle is you don't get as much choice as larger hotels, also it would help if food was labelled. Food and drink bought from the snack bar was reasonably priced. Had a good holiday, would return to Ibiza and stay at the Abrat.

The reception staff at the Abrat Hotel are so rude it is unbelievable! We were in a crowd of young people and I didn't do 1 thing to upset the staff at night. When we arrived back we went down to the beach not to disturb anyone in the hotel, I left my key at reception one day and when I returned was told you did not leave your key here, I don't believe you! You can take this spare key and go to your room and get me the other key you have left there! I was worried as I was in a single room on my own and didn't like the thought they had given my key out to someone. Later I returned to reception told staff I HAD left my key with them to be told the last person on must have got it mixed up with new people checking in. Still I was given dirty looks. I could not believe it but they lost my key the next day too and this happened again. One receptionist refuses to sell water when the bar is closed to people so if you have none you're basically dehydrating as the other reception staff do sell it. The male night porter came round the desk to me when I was alone asking for my key and stroked my back he was very drunk and being a creep! He is an old man! Worrying again being alone in my room. Air conditioning crap, bar refuses to give you ice. most of the people I was with had trouble with the reception staff. One girl losing a purse when she asked had it been lifted in the sheets by accident, was told, "your friends have taken it not my staff!" When she was simply asking if a mistake had been made. When you went to reception the staff would read and ignore you for up to five minutes at a time it was serious! Bar staff were friendly but the reception was the worst I've come across! I could truly understand if we had have partied in the hotel and disturbed other residents but we made a point to go elsewhere EVERY NIGHT. Uncalled for.

After we booked our holiday at Hotel Abrat in San Antonio, Ibiza, we read some really bad reviews so though the hotel would be a nightmare. However when we arrived at the Hotel we thought that the reception look nice, a bit old fashioned but clean! The rooms were pretty much the same, a bit old fashioned but very clean and lots of space. We hired a safe but we had to pay extra for air conditioning and fridges. The food in the restaurant was quite nice there was something for everyone and if you couldn't find anything you liked you could always go downstairs to the pool bar and buy a snack from there, which we did some days. The location of the Hotel Abrat was just right!! We just relaxed though the day it was really chilled by the pool but we were only 10 minutes from the centre and a new bar Kanya had just opened which was 2 minutes away from us, they had DJs on through the day sometimes so we popped down there if we fancied it. This holiday for me was the best I've had in a long time and I would definitely go back to Hotel Abrat, if I have any complaint it would be that they mix families and escapades together which I think is a bit stupid, when we came in from a night out we on more than one occasion was told to shut up by the reception staff, but its Ibiza so you would think people would expect noise! I would definately recommend Hotel Abrat to anyone!
