We were reccommended to Charco by Steve at Canarian Dreams (UK) as the ideal place to enjoy our first Naturist Holiday. His advice was fist class - thank you Steve! It is a German based/owned quiet village of private and company owned properties, many with private swimming pools.
We stayed at Obona5, in a terraced bungalow looking out to sea across the large 'infinity' swimming pool, and loved it. The path along the shore gives access to two natural sea pools for swimming (one depth-maintained by a dam, the other tidal), and a deep water cove for open sea swimming and scuba diving. There is no beach, sunbathing is on rocky terraces around the sea pools; scenery is 'bare', barren scrub mainly. This resort is for quiet relaxation.
Nudity is the norm in the village and along this part of the shore, but you must be clothed to enter the minimarket, the two restaurants (Cuisine is not 'haute') and the pub (small but lively with 'best-buy' food), and prices are similar to UK.
