The accommodation was excellent with everything we wanted within, all appliances all worked and it waas very clean. Location perfect to go into Playa Blanca. Was here in 2007 and the entertainment was ok Allan Day was very good. Don't know what has happened but its all rather dated, saw Alan on the Sunday night and it was a tired act.

Had a lovely Time early September 2007 at Las Brisas. Pool was clean and service was fine. Villa could do with an upgrade as the pergola was flaking away to oblivion but it was ok for what we wanted. Food was fine but ate out more in the town. Regarding the entertainment at Las Brisas - Bob The Voice is ok but warbles a bit and can be excrutiating and loud, Karaoke is usual Karaoke found anywhere, the boy King on the guitar was ok and Elvis was a poor equivelant. Alan Day was very good and seemed to enjoy his work, all in all the entertainment was ok but I would see Alan on a Sunday at Las Brisas then Gazza at Charmers and Gary at The Irish Anvil as these three appear to be the best in Playa Blanca at present.

Exchanged with RCI to stay here and wished we hadn't! It's supposed to be a Gold Crown resort but can't see why. There's no air conditioning which is unbelievable, especially with temperatures around the high 20's. The villa's are in desperate need of a refurb, they are tatty and dated. The resort is in between a busy dual carriage way and a service road and can be really noisy. The entertainment was terrible & really loud. They'd be better off not having any. All in all, a disappointing stay, Playa Blanca is a bit of a dump and Las Brisas isn't much better. The pool area was nice and large but the pool wasn't cleaned every day, this was evidenced by all the dirt at the bottom or floating on the top. Also the pool heater was broken and had been for some time. The only plus is the reception staff who are really friendly and work hard.

Timeshare owner on Las Brisas. Good accommodation/poor entertainment. (Would prefer not to have any at all to be honest if that is all they can manage). Still, there is fun to be had elsewhere in the town.

Las Brisas Villa which we booked privately was excellent. It was very clean and tidy and all the appliances we needed were in place. The staff were friendly although the bar staff appeared quite down. Maybe it is the long hours they work. We thought the pool area was lovely and at night there is entertainment. The entertainment was not very good with the exception of one singer who appeared on the Wednesday night. His name was Allan Day and he was magnificent to say the least. I spoke with a few couples there who go every six months and they say he was the best they have seen at Brisas for many years. Well done. We will be back!

Playa Blanca
We have been to Las Brisas seven times now and returned again in April 2006. We took our 2 children aged 9 and 6 and had (as always) a fantastic villa. It was very clean and well equipped with its own garden and patio. The Las Brisas pool is a big attraction and with the childrens playground nearby it a great receipe for the perfect family holiday. Tennis Courts on site and mini golf across the road are great fun. A super choice of supermarkets for self catering and lots of lovely restaurants to eat in. All welcome children and the food is excellent. If you want a quiet, relaxing holiday near the beach (there are 3 in walking distance of Brisas) then Playa Blanca is the best choice. We will go back again. Tour Operator: Self

Visited for the 4th time January 2006. This used to be perfect but now under new management it's going downhill fast. Unclean, bad service, awful food, little maintenance. Going to try towards Rubicon this summer, looks much more promising. Tour Operator: self

Las Brisas for me was one of my best holidays ever. The staff at the resort was so helpfull. There was lots of things to keep you busy. The tennis courts had floodlights so that if it is too hot to play in the day then you could play at night. Also, the villas are amazing. They have everything you need to keep you entertained and if you want to entertain others. They have entertainment on the complex everynight apart from Thursday as it is arrival day. The entertainment is fun, as they get you involved, e.g the magic show. Volunteers go up and do numerous things. The complex has its own restaurant for if you do not want to go out at night then you can stay in and enjoy a lovley meal. The prices are reasonable and the food is nice. I would most deffinatley reccomend Las Brisas to my friends. I have been going there for over three years now, and i love it. Each time i go back it improves dramatically. If you are one that likes to check your emails or chat to your friends whilst you are there then you can use there computer which is in reception. It is not expensive. Tour Operator: private

Well worth staying at. Everything you want in appartment for self catering, close to shops/restaurants best restaurant Roca mar on front, friendly bar and resturant on site, good pool balls and inflatables at certain times of day so you can swim. Been twice going again, look up Las Brisas web for pictures. Tour Operator: direct booking with owner
