For our family of four holidaying on a budget this hotel fitted our needs. The pool area was very nice, we were always given clean, fresh towels and the swimming pool itself seemed well maintained. The hotel is about 3 or 4 miles from the centre of Madrid but easy to get to by taxi and of course there are some super places to eat and drink in the heart of the city. Great for us as our two children (both under 12) stayed for free.

A well known hotel booking website listed this hotel as 2 1/2 star. I wouldn't give it a 1 star. The hotel wasn't anywhere near as nice as described in the website. When I saw the "we're renovating" sign I knew I had a problem - as this is code for "nothing works" which I found to be the case. Air conditioning didn't work, mattress looked and felt like a box spring, walls were thin so it was VERY noisy. I saw no signs of "renovation" anywhere. The only thing positive is that I booked only one night.

The Hotel Osuna is probably OK, as to its swimming-pool, etc. But! It was incredible that WE WERE ROBBED in our room the last day of our stay. The staff naturally did nothing, not even saying words of excuse! The rooms have no security at all. And the management is terrible if it allows this things to happen. In general everybody was rude and unfriendly with us, the fact of robbery in our room made them even more distant and indifferent, as if the problem was ours! We had to spend the last day at the police making a denunciation. The worst hotel we have ever stayed in...
