Location very good, clean hotel, if you want to see the culture then this a good central place as the street it's on will take you in to the heart of shops.

Overall very good. A few things which are not particularly nice such as a few cockroaches. The pool was cold and some families hog the sunbeds. But to be honest other than that it's really nice. The restaurants are nice but I advise you not to go to any of the Lanis.(The restaurants just appeared everywhere one day like Burger King says one of the smaller restaurant owners.) If you turn left as you come out of your apartment there is a really nice little pizza restaurant that we visited 4 times and down by the harbour is nice but its a long walk. A great place to stay - Kayleigh Tunnicliffe. Date of travel: Jul 2005
Atalaya is a great place to stay, very clean and looked after! The staff were very friendly and helped in any way they could even when you go back to the hotel in the early hours of the morning after a night out! I would definitely stay there again! The food was great in the bar; I didn't get to try the half board food as we went self catering but it certainly looked nice! As we went self catering our room had a kitchenette which I'd say was big enough to cook and prepare our food which was good! The rooms were spacious with a bedroom and lounge area with 2 sofas in it, it also had 2 wardrobes :) one in the bedroom and another in the lounge area which is top for someone like me who packs more than what you need for the duration of the stay! ha ha! Anyway the hotel is right next to a supermarket which is convenient if you need those little bits and bobs! We also found a 24 hour shop which is also good for those late night munchies! If you do stay in the Atalaya hotel I hope you do enjoy your stay as much as I did! Tour Operator: Thomson
Atalaya Apartments - Emily H. Date of travel: Mar 2005
My friend and I stayed in the Atalaya Apartments the first week of March. We were very happy with our choice. The reception staff were always friendly. The apartment was a good size, very very clean and quiet. The only noise we heard was about 9am every morning, whoever was staying in the apartment above us liked to wear her high heels around the room! The kitchen had a microwave, toaster, kettle and 2 halogen rings. If I was to return to Lanzarote I would not hesitate in going back to the Atalaya. Highly recommended. Tour Operator: Thompson
