Costa Adeje Gran Hotel - very pleased. - The Harmans.. Date of travel: Nov 2008
This is a nice hotel in the quieter area of Playa de las Americas. Great looking and well designed. Our room was well laid and always very clean.
Best things would have to be the roof top pool and the breakfast which offered a huge range of food. We would return to this hotel. Good experience.

Very nice and pretty well run - Alen Mcerlean. Date of travel: Oct 2007
I've been to Costa Adeje Gran Hotel several times and sent friends too! Including flights on crappy charters from the UK on a half board basis, I usually pay between 280-460 GBP ( UK pounds) per person. Watch out for Thomsons who will sometimes charge more than twice this price. It's not in Las Americas at all, it's in Costa Adeje, much better. No need to book transfers at 30 pounds per person as plentiful 24 hour taxis will get you there from Tenerife South airport for around €25 per cab and you won't have to wait for two hours on a crappy tour bus while it drops of thirty
other holiday makers. As of 2008, the hotel is around eight years old now so it is a little tired, but the quality of service makes up for that and if you can get close to my target price you'll have a great time. Food 8 out of 10. Service 8. location 8. Value at my target price 8. Attention to detail 8. Oh I forgot, the air conditioning only comes on with your room card key so if you want to come back to a cool room, a Tesco clubcard or similar, will activate the a/c. Finally, Don't rent a car from the hotel, it's cheaper if you rent from the car hire shop next to the hotel, (which is where you will collect your car if you do rent one from the hotel) Plenty to do and see here so enjoy. PS. Stay away from Las Americas at night, it's nasty and Tenerife has so much more to offer.
