Tenerife - Ashleigh Hogg. Date of travel: Apr 2007
I thought that the Iberostar Bouganville Playa was quite nice The food was the best. I went to this hotel with my mam, dad, brother and sister. We didn't think that the pool was good as it was freezing. The staff were very miserable and not that helpful. The hotel was nice itself and the surroundings were lovely and clean. We spent most of our time at the beach as that was gorgeous!! The only thing was that we went to this hotel on the easter holidays in 2007 and the weather wasn't that good, it rained quite a lot.

Lovely location - Frank McQueen. Date of travel: Sep 2005
We visited Bouganville Playa Hotel in October 2005 and had one of the best holidays of our lives. The hotel is located on the sea outside the centre of Playa de las Americas which is an advantage as its quieter and there are no touts. There are a few bars locally and taxis are very cheap to get to the centre of Playa de las Americas or Los Cristianos (left along the coast). We went with Thomas Cook and were greeted with a glass of champagne while our suitcases were taken to our rooms. We were on the 4th floor which had great views over the resort, mountains and sea. The rooms were cleaned daily and had a good bathroom, fridge, air con and a TV (in spanish). We were on half board and the breakfasts and evening meals were both very good buffet style. The hotel had a games room, tennis and football and two large clean swimming pools and lots of sun beds. There is good entertainemnt in the evening to suit all ages, or you can go out for lots more choice. We had a great time at Iberostar Bouganville Playa Hotel Tour Operator: Thomas Cook
