Vulcano - Kay & Eddie Shortt. Date of travel: Jul 2006
We visited the Hotel Vulanco in July and found it was a very special hotel, within walking distance to everything and public transport just across the street if needed. We went half board and the food was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and treated their guests like royalty, no one we met had and complaints and many of them had visited the hotel many many times (two and three times a year). One couple had been 44 times to the hotel. Since I've been back I have tried to book again for later in the year and cannot get booked in at all as the hotel is so popular. It is mainly an adult only hotel as their sister hotel accross the road caters for children and is very popular as well. If you like gardens you'll love this hotel with its botanical garden in the reception area. Tour Operator: Direct Travel

Hotel Vulcano - Paula Garfield. Date of travel: Jun 2006
Hotel Vulcano was great! Me and my family of five moved there after visiting the Arona Gran Hotel which we did not like as it was not for young people.
When we got to Vulcano we soon made friends and found the entertainment and beach brilliant.

Excellent! - Agnes Enticknap. Date of travel: Sep 2003
My husband, myself and our good friends Trudy and Miles decided to holiday in Tenerife for the first time and picked the Hotel Vulcano on the recommendation of friends. We were certainly not disappointed and have decided to return again for our next annual holiday. The hotel is four-star and exceptionally clean, with excellent food, a heated outdoor pool, good position with a five-minute walk to the beach, quiet and comfortable. The gardens are specially lovely. The best thing is it is virtually child-free and everything, including the evening entertainment, is geared to the more mature guest. There are no rowdy lager-louts ruining the atmosphere. We made some excursions. Mount Tiede on the cable car was lovely, but chilly at the top. Be warned that timeshare touts and ‘looky men’ selling watches and things can be annoying. Tour Operator: Portland
