Royal Ettrick Hotel is deteriorating badly. Our room had mould and mildew on exterior walls from floor to ceiling, window, and new shower floor. Hotel shows signs of poor management and upkeep. Bed pad was stained and dirty. Bedding old and stained. Food and staff were helpful but they are limited in what they can do in a hotel that needs total renovation. Mould and mildew need to be corrected before hotel accommodates guests.
