We just had the afternoon and evening in Edinburgh, it was the last day of our trip. We want to return but stay in a different hotel. We visited Edinburgh Castle which was great, I really enjoyed seeing the Royal Apartments what history. Hollyrud was closed until after July 4th. The Conan Doyle Pub was a great place to eat and relax before and after our days travels. I need to share that the train station workers were far more friendly and helpful than at Victoria Station in London. We noticed that right away and were greatly appreciative.

Edinburgh really does have it all, culture, history, attractions, great places to eat and all within walking distance. Highly recommended.
