Costa Teguise
With three splendid beaches, Costa Teguise is the newest of Lanzarote’s holiday resorts. Small, compact, and low-key, with a friendly atmosphere, a holiday in Costa Teguise has something for all tastes and ages, except perhaps the most hardened party-animals. Shops, bars and restaurants line pretty squares, the beaches bristle with watersports operators, and there ismore
breezy Teguise - Paul Falconer. Date of travel: Jul 2011
Teguise is a very nice area in Lanzarote, there are many activities for the more active individuals. The volcano tour is worth a day out and the beaches are well looked after.
Costa Teguise - Lanzarote (best Canary island) - Grw. Date of travel: Mar 2011
Costa Teguise is a quiet resort with 5 beaches (golden sand) and plenty of restaurants. Lanzarote is definitely the most interesting of all the Canary islands. We stayed at Las Colinas Appartments, about a 10minute walk to the centre. The appartments were huge, clean and quiet. Great food at the pool bar.

The reason I am writing this review (and I've never written one before) is a meal we had at Restaurante China Gran Fortuna. It was the best chinese meal we've ever had. They also did a buffet for 5.95 which was restocked on a regular basis.
Costa Teguise brill - Marian & Michael Walker. Date of travel: Nov 2010

Best holiday resort ever! - Sarah Hallam. Date of travel: Jul 2010
My family & I have just returned from our 3rd trip to Costa Teguise and it is still as good as ever! It is so relaxed & chilled. The sun is very very hot even though there is a breeze you need it. Be careful not to burn as the wind makes it seems cooler than it is. The bars are great especially Saxos... always made to feel very welcome & great entertainment ...the Africa Boys are one not to be missed... and the Shamrock really good singers. Food is great at most places but the chinese buffets are superb - Golden City is the best & cheap !! Eriks is fab for pizzas too.....if you want a hot cheap relaxed holiday Costa Teguise is for you! I cant wait to go back!
Costa Teguise, a lovely resort. - Mrs. Norma Joslin. Date of travel: Jun 2009
Costa Teguise is a lovely resort and we found the El Trebol was very well situated, beach only 5 mins away. We were a party of 8 adults and 6 children so quite a varied age group. The hotel has 2 entrances. The back one has a few bars, rides for the kids and a spar. The weather was great, lovely cooling breeze. We tended to go to Cactus Jacks, where the entertainment was good, or to Legends where there was a bouncy castle to keep the kids happy. Both these places serve excellent food and we saw some fantastic acts.
Very nice - Jim. Date of travel: Feb 2009
Went to Costa Teguise at the end of Feb and it was very sunny and warm all week. Had a scare first day when it was really breezy but rest of week was great and not so windy. Bit quiet at night though. Even the lively bars were empty. Found 3 or 4 good places though like Hooks and The lighthouse. Lani's is excellent for food. Resort is very clean and i imagine in the summer its more lively but def not an 18-30 rowdy place. Beaches are really good and if you go up or down the coast from the main beach you'll find quieter bathing spots. Lots to see on the island and would def go again.
I love Costa Teguise - Chamberlain. Date of travel: Oct 2008
What a beautiful island Lanzarote is, and the lovely resort of Costa Teguise. The Beaches are so clean, the cafes and bars friendly I may reccommend you try Surfwings for a morning coffee lunch or an evening cocktail - the staff are extremely friendly - they remember you year to year (near Las Cucharas Beach). I would also highly reccommend Vesubio Restaurant for coffee and evening meal (near Jabillo Beach). Again the staff are friendly the food supberb and they never forget you.
Costa Teguise - Rachael Hunter. Date of travel: Apr 2008
Costa Teguise is relatively quiet. The beach is nice and the shops that are there are mostly for tourists (i.e. souveneir shops) and supermarkets.
Where to eat - Janet porter. Date of travel: Jan 2008
Coffee and Cream bistro bar in Teguise. What a great place to eat, serving good breakfasts 2 for 1, evening menu and local cuisine. John and Zoe are the owners of the bar and are qualified chefs from the UK and while the prices are amazing, the quality and hygeine are also.
What Happened To Lanzarotes Identity? - G. Revell. Date of travel: Dec 2007
People in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote are friendly enough, but it has become another Benidorm or Salou resort town. If you want chips, beer, karaoke, pizza or sky TV, a holiday in Lanzarote is for you.
Very Nice - Frank and Anne. Date of travel: Nov 2007
We actually stayed in Costa Teguise for the first time in 20 odd years and it was just as pleasant staying there as it was in Puerto del Carmen.
Cockroaches, poor sanitation, and worn out furniture - Jenny Wren. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Costa Teguise is the cheaper side of the island, therefore you have plenty of English menus and little of the local choices.
Where to go and not to go - Liz and Ian. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Loved Coffee and Cream Bistro for food. Also Popeye's for brekkie. Did not like scots and wry. If you were not a certain religion you did not feel welcome there.
Costa Teguise holiday - Louise, Paul, Dave, Sarah and Gregg. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Coast Teguise is quieter than Puerto Del Carmen however there are more than enough bars and places to eat. Two of our favourite restaurants were "Lani's" mexican and "Natraj" Indian. "Popeye's" in the square does great breakfast and sunday lunches, it also shows all major sporing events which kept the boys happy while the girls went shopping. The shopping in Costa Teguise itself isn't great, I'd reccomend a day in Puerto Del Carmen if you want a major shopping spree
Flanagans Irish Bar - Sandra. Date of travel: Jun 2007
We´ve just come back from a 2 week holiday in Costa Teguise and spent almost every night in Flanagans....it has everything!!!! The food was beautiful, the kids could play on the free playstations and we all joined in Karaoke at night. I´ve never done karaoke before but we were made to feel so welcome and involved that I just had to join in! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun night out (plus they show horse racing during the day which kept the old man entertained!!)
Lovely, ideal for couples - Ann Robertson. Date of travel: Jun 2007
Been to Costa Teguise 3 times now. I love it because it is a very quiet, peaceful resort but there is still plenty to do. Nice restaurants and good pubs especially the Scots and Wry. Hosts Davy and Beth will make you very welcome. They serve good food and have entertainment most nights. We spent every night in their bar and enjoyed every minute of it.
I loved Costa Teguise - Dave and Lynne. Date of travel: May 2007
My family enjoyed our time in Costa Teguise and thought the Karaoke places were fantastic. My husband is a fantastic singer and I just wish I had brought a hat for all the money we could have made.
Brilliant As well - Anon. Date of travel: Apr 2007
Brilliant As well
Honestly, Costa Teguise was lovely, a very good aqua park nearby, and plenty of bars and restaurants and crazy golf courses nearby. Las Cucharas beach was stunning.
Highlander Bar in Costa Teguise is great! - Peter Kearnan.. Date of travel: Dec 2006
Had Great holiday from 7th dec-14th dec, met many very nice people in resort. Great bar is the Highlander Bar Robert the barman is a great laugh and great company, the atmosphere in the bar by everyone is so warm and friendly. Willie and Liz who own the bar are the best hosts in any bar I have ever been in in my life, and i have been in a few bars in a few countries. Met many a good friend in the Highlander and will most definately be going back in the summer. Costa Teguise is a very friendly and welcoming resort, have also had many a good night in the Bulldog Bar trying to sing on the karaoke!
Fabulous - Megan and Larni. Date of travel: Jul 2006
Costa Teguise is a fabulous place to visit. We cant wait to go back again, and again and again. There is so much to do for everybody, no matter what your age is! Whether you like a relaxing holiday or fun filled! There are 3 or 4 great beaches in Costa Teguise. Our favourite is... ha ha we're not telling cos its our beach and too good, because its just for locals mainly. At night they're is plenty to do! Lots of places to eat out. Ranging from the common touristy place, to more traditional spanish style! Our favourites were; San Remo which has a great range of foods and a lovely service, you could even try mentioning our names! El Mastil and Vesubios were great too! After eating the night hasn't ended. Make sure u visit some of the bars and clubs! Like: The Lighthouse which is good for families! San Miguels is prob the best! The musics great they play RnB, Dancehall, HipHop, Ragga!Lovely staff too! Its especially good on a night when loadsa people are there! We also spent alot of time in Cactus Jacks but only cos we liked the bar staff and got free drinks, over than it wasn't that good. But it is a good laugh with the bar staff, untill we got forced into doing kareoke! Don't fall for the baby faced looks! Spend lots of money to make up for us not spending...any really in there! King Arthurs good for a late night or early morning but can be a bit dingey! Tour Operator: www.lanzarote-acommodation.com and flights with thomsonsflight.com
Things to do!! - Chris and Hugh Maxwell. Date of travel: Jul 2006
Costa Teguise is quite a busy place. I think there is something for all ages. There is a Jeep safari which is very exciting, a submarine excursion, there are plenty of shops at reasonable prices, Plenty of places to eat and drink. The only thing to be a bit wary of is the electronic shops. We walked in one to have a look around, an hour later we came out a few euros lighter, if you say no make sure that they know you mean it. I also think that Costa Teguise is a very safe place. Our children loved it. Tour Operator: Thomas Cooke

Costa Teguise is Brilliant - Jillian H Rach B. Date of travel: Jun 2006
I have just returned from Costa Teguise and I thought it was amazing. I was with my family there was 11 of us, varied ages, and we all had such a blast! My cousin and myself (both 18) spent most of our time in Saxo's Bar and Coyote nightclub. Saxo's is such a good place to go for families as it offers such a variety of enertainment from live acts to kareoke! The drink is relativly cheap although we knew the bar staff so we did get afew free. After Saxo's we went to Coyote's. Coyote's is such a brilliant place to go. Monday night is ladies night so it is buy 1 get 1 free for us girls all night long. Friday is the Foam party which was so much fun! It has 2 poles which have seen alot of action (haha) The staff are so nice espesh the hot barman called Todd ! The music is great! Dance hip hop RnB it does the lot! All in all a wonderful holiday and I would defo recommend it to you! I liked it so much am going back in October :oD !! Ooo the waterpark is really good fun aswell! Tour Operator: Thomsons
I loved Costa Teguise - Mrs Patricia Scott. Date of travel: Jun 2006
We arrived at Costa Teguise July '06, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel, can't fault it on anything! The staff are first class as was our room with that view, this was our 6th visit to Lanzarote but 1st to this hotel but not our last, as we are returning in July '08! It's already booked & looking forward to staying there again!
Loads to do - The Boniface family. Date of travel: Apr 2006
There's loads to do in Costa Teguise. We spent time in Saxos Bar watching various acts including acrobats, The Sunburnt Arms was excellent for tribute acts such as Madonna, Abba, Shania Twain and Robbie Williams. Our favourite restaurant was Vesubio which is near the Galeon Playa and overlooks the beach. Enormous portions and not too expensive. We also ate in La Provence (only because it was near the children's playground and the bungy trampolines, La Pardela and Lani's (just about the only place to do seafood paella for 1). The only thing we didn't like about the resort was that it looks a bit run down and needed some work doing on it, especially the pavements. Tour Operator: Portland Direct
Had brilliant time in costa teguise - A very happy customer. Date of travel: Apr 2006
Check out www.justtheticketlanzarote.com Their office is a few doors along from the Celeste apartments and the staff are ever so helpful - ended up renting a car through them, going on various excursions around the isalnd and trying scuba diving all through the same office - which was a nice find on the net and saved me a heap of money. As for the Celeste I've rebooked with them directly - so I am well happy. Tour Operator: Searched web 4 flight

Excellent place to chill out. Plenty of good restaurants and bars. Best service at the Jumbo Chinese and the best Sangria. If you want a medium steak anywhere, order well done. Watch out for the Shamrock Irish Bar, well above average charged for drinks. Tour Operator: Thomson

Lots to do for the family. Been going to Lanzarote now for 9 years, love it. Great bars, and resteraunts. Everyone comments on how expensive the Shamrock bar is in Costa Teguese, yes it is a bit over the odds, but you get great beer and great meals, and also great entertainment every night of the week.... Becci and Ian Hipkiss. Date of travel: Jun 2005
Costa Teguise was was very windy, but it was lovely and took the edge off the heat. There is so much to do here, plenty of bars, shops and restaurants to choose from. We would definitely go back. There is a Sunday market in Teguise itself and is always great for a bargain, but you need to be good at haggling. We recommend this area to anyone as there is something to suit all ages.
