The holiday resort of S’Illot on Mallorca’s east coast consists of the lively modern town of Sa Coma, and, across a pretty fresh-water lagoon, the traditional working fishing village of Cala Moreya. While Sa Coma buzzes with fast-food and brash bars, locals continue to launch their boats from the tranquil beach of picturesque Cala Moreya.more
S'illot - Allan & Pippa Mine. Date of travel: Oct 2006
Lovely resort with traditional fishing village type atmosphere - SA coma is close by if you want something more lively but plenty to do or just relax and enjoy the blissful peace of quieter Cala Moreya. Can also explore the other resorts that are close by.
S'illot - Pam, Jerry, Sue, Steve, Alec, Jane and 6 children!. Date of travel: Sep 2006
S'illot is a pretty, typical Mallorcan fishing village with a beautiful beach. There are lots of bars and restaurants around. We liked the Red Lion best of all. It is right by the beach and serves lovely food. There was something on the menu to please everyone in our party of six children and six adults! As the weather was so good we never actually went far - just lazed around on the beach!! If you want to explore the island though, there are regular buses to take you to markets, etc.
