Puerto De Santiago
Puerto de Santiago essentially forms part of a larger resort alongside Los Gigantes and Playa de la Arena. It's quieter than Tenerife's southern resorts and in that way is ideal for families. It's fairly limited for beaches but a short walk to Playa de la Arena and it's sea and sand. For eatingmore
Puerto de Santiago holiday - Doreen Kingsley. Date of travel: Feb 2009
Puerto de Santiago is a great holiday spot. We've been coming here for five years. It's really close Playa de la Arena and Los Gigantes, Playa de la Arena has got a blue flag beach so we're happy for the grandkids to swim there. It's a lot more low key here, which is why we like it. There are lots of places to eat, we now have our favourites and look forward to visiting them again this year.
Our 1st visit to the Canaries & loved it! - Mr & Mrs Mitchell, Fields, Robertson, & Simpson. Date of travel: Mar 2006
About an hour travel from airport by bus, a bit quicker by taxi. Peurto de Santiago was in between Los Gigantes & Playa de Arena, a free bus ran from hotel to these towns, lovely area, coast. So clean. Not much to buy where we were, either tacky or expensive, depends what you want! Bought lovely soft leather sandals! Tour Operator: Thomson
