It has a reputation for exclusivity, but in fact Colorado’s celebrity ski resort of Aspen welcomes anyone with a fat wallet, and you don’t even have to go near the slopes on the varied level four ski areas to enjoy yourself on an Aspen holiday. The après- ski and shopping is glitzy and glamourous. Inmore
Aspen again - Raul Pidomi . Date of travel: Feb 2009
Aspen in Colorado was a blast. I hardly got on the slopes but the town was a non-stop attraction. For skiing, I think i will try to find some other Colorado mountains next time. Colorado's main ski advantage is great light powder snow, but the groomed and crowded Aspen runs made me save my lift ticket money and stay in the town. I'm mot sure I saved money by doing this as everything was incredibly expensive. I'm not complaining, the town had great bars like The Red Onion and swanky hotels. The town also seems to attract the most beautiful people I have ever seen in ski resort including a few celebs.
