Copper Mountain ski and ski again - Don Ridinhure . Date of travel: Feb 2009
Copper Mountain is a skier's mountain. I came with friends and am glad I didn't bring my family as the villages are a bit limited for activity. For those that ski morning to afternoon there isn't a better option. I love how the mountain and villages are divided by ability...keep those novices out of my way. It is short distance from Frisco which is convenient for outings. Some clear attempts have been made to renovate the villages which I appreciated, such as new restaurants and high speed lifts. I enjoyed a few taverns like JJ's and Tucker's but things got a bit quiet at night.
