Deer Valley
Deer Valley ups and downs - Breck Dilane . Date of travel: Feb 2009
I know Deer Valley is a well regarded ski resort and I agree that its services, accommodation and groomed runs were excellent. But its 'classy' appeal does not suit all types, especially more adventurous skiers. Although not a problem for me snowboarders are not allowed on the mountain which could limit some families from visiting. Actually the mountain get more exclusive than that, limiting the number of daily tickets. This was great for short chair lines. The terrain became a redundant after a while as I enjoy powder runs more than nicely groomers or moguls. The restaurants and lodging is all first class, extremely expensive but worth it. It is also a short distance away from Park City which is a lot of fun.
