Getting Around

Córdoba's main form of public transport is the bus, and the city has a large network that reaches most neighbourhoods. Some buses are newer than others, but overall they're a practical and budget-friendly option. To ride, travellers need a SUBE card, which can be topped up at kiosks or online.

The city centre is compact and easy to explore on foot. Walking is the best way to enjoy Córdoba's colonial buildings, lively plazas, and colourful street life.

Taxis and remises (private cars with drivers) are easy to find and useful for reaching places not well served by bus, especially in the evening or at night.

Ride-hailing apps such as Uber, DiDi and Cabify are allowed in Córdoba, but the rules are still being worked out. Because of this, service may be limited at times, and availability can vary depending on the area or time of day. It's best to check the app in advance before counting on it.

For those wanting to explore outside the city, including the Sierras or nearby towns such as Alta Gracia and Villa Carlos Paz, renting a car is a great option and gives visitors more freedom to travel at their own pace.
