Getting Around
Montgomery is easy to get around on public transport, but many visitors do opt to hire cars, especially if they are planning to travel widely in the region. The Montgomery Area Transit System offers comprehensive bus services in the city and to outlying areas; taxis and ride shares such as Lyft and Uber are also available.

The cheapest mode of transport from the airport into the city is the Montgomery Area Transit bus. The station is right outside the terminal and services run hourly during the week between 5.55am and 7.55pm, and roughly every 1 hour and 40 minutes on Saturdays between 7.55am and 5.55pm. Many hotels offer airport shuttles and shuttle bus services and taxis are also available at the airport. Uber, and other app-based taxi services, are also available.
