The East Coast Climate and Weather
The east coast region borders a hot Mediterranean climate in the north, and a hot semi-arid climate in the south. Summers are short, hot, muggy and clear, while winters are long, cool, windy and mostly clear. The best months for a visit are April, May and November, when travellers are most likely to experience good weather with pleasant average temperatures between 68F (20C) and 77F (25C).
