Climate in Argentina
Argentina's long, narrow shape means the country has a wide variety of climates. In the north, the weather is subtropical with rain throughout the year. It's generally more pleasant to visit between May and September when the heat and humidity ease up a bit. The south, on the other hand, has a much colder, almost sub-Arctic climate, and the best time to go is during the summer months, from December to February, when conditions are milder. Central Argentina has a temperate climate, though it can get hot and humid in the summer and cooler in the winter.
