Isle of Man Airport (IOM)
Location
The airport is located nine miles (14km) southwest of the
Island's capital, Douglas.
Getting to the city
Buses are the only public transport option from the airport,
with Routes 1, 1A and 2 calling at Douglas, Santon, Ballasalla,
Castletown and Port Erin during the day from Monday to Saturday.
Buses 10, 11, 11A, 12 and 12A follow this route on Sundays and
during evenings and early mornings. Route 8 runs Monday through
Saturday from the airport to Peel and other intermediate
destinations. Travel time is around 25 minutes to Douglas, 30
minutes to Peel, and 7 to 8 minutes to Castletown.

Avis, Hertz, Firefly, Keddy and Europcar have offices at the
airport.
Airport Taxis
Passengers can find taxis immediately outside the terminal
building.
Facilities
Isle of Man Airport has an ATM in the main terminal entrance
area (the nearby towns of Castletown and Ballasalla offer full
banking facilities), shops selling souvenirs and news agents that
stock books, magazines and newspapers. Travellers will find a
self-service restaurant on the first floor of the terminal and a
bar and café in the departures lounge. The airport also has
baby-changing rooms, and good facilities for travellers with
reduced mobility.
