Brisbane Climate and Weather

Brisbane enjoys a warm, subtropical climate that makes it a great year-round destination. Summers (December to February) are hot and humid, with daytime temperatures averaging between 84 and 86°F (29 and 30°C) and warm nights in the low 70s°F (21 to 23°C). Summer also brings short, dramatic thunderstorms and bursts of heavy rain, but there's still plenty of sunshine.

Winters (June to August) are mild and mostly dry, with comfortable daytime temperatures of between 68 and 72°F (20 and 22°C) and cooler nights around 50°F (10°C). The city's long hours of sunshine and mild weather mean outdoor activities can be enjoyed in every season, whether it's relaxing by the river, exploring nearby beaches, or dining al fresco in one of Brisbane's lively neighbourhoods.
