Climate in Belarus

Belarus has a continental climate, with cold, snowy winters and warm, pleasant summers. In January, average temperatures range from about 25°F to 18°F (−4°C to −8°C), while in July, temperatures are typically around 63°F to 66°F (17°C to 19°C). During summer, it can occasionally get warmer, with temperatures reaching over 77°F (25°C) on hotter days. The summer months, especially June through August, tend to have the most rainfall. Winters are harsher in the northern parts of the country, where temperatures can dip well below freezing. Snow is common from November to March, although it can sometimes start earlier or last later depending on the year. The best time to visit is usually between late May and early September, when temperatures are milder, though early May can still be cool and September begins to feel more autumnal with cooler temperatures and more rain.
