Many hotels operate courtesy buses for their guests to and from the airport. Taxis are available outside the terminal, and ride-hailing services such as Uber and Careem also operate in Bahrain, often offering a more reliable and affordable option.

Airport Taxis
Taxis operate outside the terminal, but they may overcharge foreigners. It's advisable that visitors use ride-hailing apps or arrange for a metered taxi service through their hotel. The drive to Manama typically takes about 15 minutes.
Facilities
Facilities include banks and currency exchange services, restaurants, cafes and bars, gift shops, a post office, communications centre, tourist information, and prayer rooms. The Bahrain Duty Free shopping complex is internationally acclaimed. Disabled facilities are good.
Parking
Short- and long-term parking facilities are available in front of the terminal. Cashier counters operate 24 hours at the exits. A free shuttle bus service runs between the terminal and the long-term car parks.
